Awarded when that member has demonstrated outstanding dedication to duty in circumstances demanding tenacity of a high order.

The medal may be awarded to an employee if the employee has demonstrated outstanding dedication to duty in circumstances demanding tenacity of a high order through the application to their duties, work requirements, mission, operation, or role within the AFP.
