Full size medal - Unmounted with 15cm ribbon as required for swing mounting.

Miniature  size medal - Unmounted with 10cm ribbon as required for swing mounting.

Description

Instituted in 1942 by King George VI and struck in silver. It was awarded for 10 years efficient service by officers and airmen of the Citizen Air Force.

Approximately 400 were issued to Australians before being replaced by the National Medal in 1975.
